Speedometer Gear: Service and Repair
REMOVE1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Raise the vehicle on a suitable hoist.
3. Remove the speedometer drive clamp and nut and withdraw the cable.
4. Pry out the drive pinion assembly.
REFIT
1. Push in a new assembly and fit the speedometer cable and secure with the clamp and nut.
