Shoulder Safety Belt and Retractor Assembly-Front
Seat Belt Bolt Bit T77L-2100-A or equivalent, should be used for removal and installation of the safety belt bolts on all safety belt assemblies.







Removal And Installation
1. Remove safety belt anchor-to-sill bolt.
2. Slip finger behind D-ring cover and push bottom of cover toward center of vehicle to dislodge it. Lift up to remove cover and remove safety belt retaining bolt.
3. Remove rear seat lower cushion, both rear seat belt anchor plates and the rear seat back cushion.

NOTE: Step 3 must be done to access the quarter trim panel for Removal.

4. Remove quarter trim panel and unthread safety belt through slot in panel.

5. Remove retractor mounting safety bolt and remove shoulder belt assembly.
6. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Tighten retaining bolts to 30-40 N.m (23-29 lb-ft). Check to ensure safety belt is not twisted. With new shoulder safety belt and retractor assemblies, remove shipping clip after installation. Cycle retractors to check retractor(s) for proper operation.
