Heater Hose: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Drain the radiator; refer to Cooling System.







2. Remove the screws and the RH cowl vent screen.







3. Disconnect the vacuum hoses and the wire harness connector from the evaporative emissions canister purge valve.







4. Remove the nuts and remove the evaporative emissions purge valve.







5. Remove the heater hoses from the heater core.







6. Remove the heater hoses from the engine.

INSTALLATION







1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
- Lubricate the coolant hoses with Ford Rubber Suspension Insulator Lube E25Y-19553-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESF-M99B112-A.
