Rear

Removal:

1. Raise vehicle and place on jack stands.
2. Remove wheel and dust cap.

Rear Brake Line:

3. Remove brake line from strut housing.

Secure Caliper To Strut Housing:

4. Remove caliper assembly and secure from strut housing.

Removing Driveshaft Locknut:

5. Raise the nut tab and remove locknut. On right side turn locknut clockwise to loosen.

Marking Hub/Disc Assembly For Removal:

6. Remove disc plate assembly and mark wheel hub and disc plate as shown.
7. Remove the four bolts from the back of the disc plate and separate the disc plate from the hub.

Installation:

Assembling Disc Plate And Wheel Hub:

1. Align the disc plate and wheel hub matching marks, install the four mount bolts and torque to 44-54 Nm (33-40 ft.lbs).
2. Install disc rotor assembly on spindle, take care not to damage inner grease seal.
3. Install new locknut and torque to 157-235 Nm (116-174 ft.lbs). Right side locknut must be turned counterclockwise to tighten.

Stake Locknut After Tightening:

4. Stake the locknut to the spindle groove.
5. Install wheel, remove jack stands and lower vehicle until wheels can no longer turn. Torque lug nuts to 88-118 Nm (65-87 ft.lbs). Lower vehicle to ground.
