Evaporative Check Valve: Testing and Inspection
THREE-WAY CHECK VALVEFig. 41 Testing three-way check valve.:
1. Remove three-way check valve.
2. Blow through valve from port A, Fig. 41, and ensure air flows from port B.
3. Block port B and ensure air flows from port C.
4. Block port B, then connect vacuum pump to port A and ensure no vacuum is held.
CHECK AND CUT VALVE

This test must be performed with valve in horizontal position.
1. Remove check and cut valve.
2. Connect pressure gage to passage that is normally connected to fuel tank.
3. Blow through valve from port A, Fig. 32, and ensure valve opens at .78-1 psi.
4. Remove pressure gage and connect it to passage to atmosphere.
5. Blow through valve from port B and ensure valve opens at .14-.71 psi.
