Shift Linkage: Adjustments

Selector Lever Adjustment:

1. Loosen locknuts A and B, Fig. 3.
2. Shift selector lever to P range and shift transmission to P range by moving manual shaft of transmission.
3. Turn nut by hand until locknut A touches adjusting lever lightly.
4. Back off locknut A one full turn.
5. Torque locknut B to 70-96 inch lbs.
6. Ensure there is a click at each range when shifting through ranges.
