Intake Manifold: Service and Repair

Intake Air System R&R:

COMPONENTS

1. Strut bar.
2. Fresh air duct.
3. Air cleaner.
4. Resonance duct.
5. Air flow meter.
6. Air intake hose.
7. Accelerator cable.
8. Throttle body.
9. Spacer.
10. BAC valve.
11. Intake manifold.
12. Air intake pipe.

REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT

1. Remove components in order shown.

NOTE: Release fuel pressure and drain coolant.

2. Check components and repair or replace as necessary.
3. Install in reverse order of removal.

NOTE: Install air intake pipe carefully to avoid damaging O-rings. Lube O-rings with clean engine oil to aid installation.
