Inspection




1. Connect the SSTs to the PCM.




2. Apply pressure to the EGR boost sensor by using a vacuum pump. Measure the voltage at the PCM terminal 3H.

Specification:
15 kPa (4.43 inHg): Approx. 0.3 V
40 kPa (11.8 inHg): Approx. 1.6 V
95 kPa (28.1 inHg): Approx. 4.4 V
105 kPa (31.0 inHg): Approx. 4.9 V

3. If not as specified, replace the EGR boost sensor.
