DESCRIPTION

To reduce the time required for delivery of major components and expedite product quality feedback, the parts listed below MUST be ordered through the technical hotline. The number for the technical hotline is 1-800-TECH94O.

This procedure will allow the components to be returned to the manufacturer quickly for thorough examination and product quality improvements. The information below addresses additional elements of this program.

PROGRAM COMPONENTS

^ Engine and Transaxle Assemblies: Millenia (2.3L and 2.5L), Protege (1.5L and 1.8L)
^ Lysholm Compressor: Millenia only

COMPONENT SHIPPING

Components will be shipped to your dealership at no charge. Return ALL replaced parts in their original packing (when possible) to the address below.

Ship "FREIGHT COLLECT" using the carriers specified on page 7-5 of the Warranty Policies and Procedures manual (effective October 24, 1994).

HANDLING ALLOWANCE

If the technical hotline operator instructs your dealership to order the components through your PDC, MMA will make adjustments to assure that you receive the appropriate handling allowance. The allowances are broken down as follows:
