Wiper Motor: Testing and Inspection

Inspection
1. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor connector.

Ohmmeter Connection:

Reference:

2. Check for continuity between the motor terminals as indicated.

Battery Connection:

Reference:

3. Connect battery positive voltage to the terminals of the windshield wiper motor connector and ground to a bare metal part of the vehicle. Verify that the windshield wiper motor operates as indicated.
4. If not as specified, replace the windshield wiper motor.
