Required Operations

Below is a flow chart which shows a general description of the required operations contained in this bulletin.
Required Operations

The "required operations" must be performed on all Affected Vehicles as described above. These "required operations" are as follows:

1. Cut the battery back-up circuit wire at the Carburetor Control Unit.
2. Reroute the vacuum hose for the secondary air induction system.
3. Affix vacuum hose routing modification label.
4. Remove carburetor and install choke adjusting shim.
5. Remove and clean the sub-EGR valve.
6. Adjust sub-EGR valve.
7. Install carburetor.
