Oil Change Reminder Lamp: Service and Repair

On vehicles without the color CRT Driver Information Display option:
Oil life is displayed by pressing the "OPTIONS" button on the Driver Information System (DIS) keypad. Press the "OPTIONS" key three times if equipped with a phone and compass, twice if equipped with either a phone or compass and once if the vehicle has neither.
To reset the oil life index, press and hold the "RESET/ENTER" key for five seconds while the oil life is displayed.

On vehicles equipped with a Driver Information Display:
Oil life may be displayed by pressing the "INFO" button and then selecting the "OIL LIFE" option.
Oil life is reset by pressing "RESET" on the oil life display and then processing "YES" on the confirmation screen. This will reset the oil life index and the "OIL LIFE INDEX 100" message appears. The "Change Oil" message stays off until the next oil change is needed.
