Vacuum Solenoid Valve HVAC: Service and Repair

Heater And A/C Vacuum Solenoid:

Remove or Disconnect

1. Swing down IP compartment by pulling rearward and disengaging swing stops.
2. Vacuum harness connector from solenoid.
3. Electrical connector from solenoid.
4. Solenoid screws.
5. Solenoid from heater A/C module.

Install or Connect

1. Solenoid to heater A/C module.
2. Solenoid screws.

Tighten
^ Screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb. in.).

3. Electrical connector to solenoid.
4. Vacuum harness connector to solenoid.
5. IP compartment, push forward.
