Vacuum Advance Cutout

Fig. 29 Distributor vacuum advance cut-out electrovalve:

1. Disconnect the brown hose (2) from the electrovalve (M334), Fig. 29.
2. Connect a vacuum pump to the electrovalve.
3. Start engine.
4. Accelerate lightly, the vacuum gauge should show a reading
5. With the throttle flap on its idle stop the vacuum should be cancelled.

6. If this is not so, check, Fig. 30:
a. The adjustment and condition of the microswitch (M772).
b. The electrovalve (M334), operation.
7. Reconnect the vacuum hose (3) to the electrovalve (M334).
