If engine run-on (dieseling) occurs after the ignition is turned off on 85/2 version cars, a diode can be installed to correct this condition.
Repair Procedure:
- disconnect battery
- remove central electric board and locate plug "K"
- install diode into wire to K 1.3 (black/ white) by cutting wire approx. 75 mm below the K plug, also cut plastic sleeve from wiring harness to gain enough slack for this wire
- reinstall central electric board
- reconnect battery
