ATTENTION: This bulletin supercedes Group 6, Number 8503 issued Sept. 20, 1985.

A new windshield trim strip with detent locks (Part No. 944.559.535.03) has been installed as of:

June 18, 1985 Vin 94FN457700 June 24, 1985 Vin 95GN150101 on cars with the new raised windshield.

This modified trim strip can only be installed together with these new windshields (Part No. 944.541.011.09/11), which were also introduced at the above mentioned VIN's.

Repairs on earlier cars:

Cement entire length of cover strip in the frame channel with sealing cement, Part No. 999.915.400.00 or install modified windshield trim strip, Part No. 944.025.135.06.
