Roof Trim Lamps and Switches

Illuminated Vanity Mirror Lamp

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim removal wedge (VAS 3409)

• When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool ( trim removal wedge (VAS 3409), screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

• Removal and installation for both lights is performed in the same way and is only described for one light.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

- Carefully pry light out of roof trim using trim removal wedge (VAS 3409) or a screwdriver.





- Disconnect electrical connection - arrow -.





Bulb, replacing:

- Push contact plate - 1 - of light in direction of arrow and remove soffit - 2 - from socket.





- Replace bulb (12V, 5 W).

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
