Valve Body Overview
1 Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) Inspection Plug
• ATF level, checking and topping off, refer to => [ ATF Level, Checking and Filling ] Testing and Inspection.
• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ] Fastener Tightening Specifications.
2 Oil Seal
• Always replace
3 Overflow Tube
• Unscrew to drain the ATF.
• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ] Fastener Tightening Specifications.
4 Oil Pan
• Removal and installation, refer to => [ Oil Pan ] Service and Repair.
5 Bolt
• Tighten the oil pan bolts in several stages in a diagonal sequence.
• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ] Fastener Tightening Specifications.
6 Gasket
• With spacers (quantity: 8).
• Check before installing.
• Replace brittle, cracked or deformed gaskets.
7 Magnet
• Qty: 2, in the depressions in the oil pan.
• Clean before installing the oil pan.
8 Bolt
• For installing valve body to the transmission.
• Qty: 12, various lengths, refer to => [ Bolt Lengths and Locations on the Valve
Body ] Valve Body.
• Always replace.
• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ] Fastener Tightening Specifications.
9 Bolt
• Quantity: 3
• For installing the oil filter to the valve body.
• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ] Fastener Tightening Specifications.
10 Oil Filter
• Removal and installation, refer to => [ Transmission Fluid Filter ] Service and Repair.
11 Valve Body
• Removal and installation, refer to => [ Valve Body ] Valve Body.
• Allocation
12 Bolt
• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ] Fastener Tightening Specifications.
13 Bolt
• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ] Fastener Tightening Specifications.
14 Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor (G182)
• Removal and installation, refer to => [ Transmission Input Speed Sensor ] Transmission Input Speed Sensor.
15 Bolt
• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ] Fastener Tightening Specifications.
16 Transmission Output Speed (RPM) Sensor (G195)

17 Transmission Housing
• The transmission fluid cooler is not illustrated.

19 Multi-Function Transmission Range Switch (F125)

20 Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor (G93)
• Integrated into the wiring harness.
• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ] Fastener Tightening Specifications.
• Removal and installation, refer to => [ Solenoid Valve and Sensor Wiring Harness ] Service and Repair.
• Line routing, refer to => [ Line Routing, Connectors and Bracket on Valve Body ] Line Routing, Connectors and Bracket on Valve Body.
21 Bolt
• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ] Fastener Tightening Specifications.
22 Bolt
• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ] Fastener Tightening Specifications.
23 Sensor Wiring Harness
• With the transmission fluid temperature sensor.
• For the transmission input speed (RPM) sensor.
• For the transmission output speed (RPM) sensor.
• Always replace the seal on the connector housing.
• Removal and installation, refer to => [ Solenoid Valve and Sensor Wiring Harness ] Service and Repair.
