Rear Lid Seal

Rear lid seals are equipped at the factory with sealant, applied to rear lid flange and then rolled on.

• When the seal is removed, the sealant is spread on the inner side of the seal and the sides are bent up slightly. If the seal is re-installed, the sealing performance and proper seating are no longer guaranteed.

• For this reason, replace every seal that is completely replaced with a "hammer-stroke seal".

• With partially removed seals, press the edges of the seal together before installing.
