• Bore in cylinder block for securing crankshaft with locking pin (T40069)

3 Knock Sensor (KS) 1 (G61)

• Note installation position: Cable connection points downward vertically.

4 20 Nm

• Tightening specifications affects function of Knock Sensor (KS).

5 10 Nm

6 Trim strip

7 Bayonet connection

8 Cable clamp

• Clamped on cover plate

9 Knock Sensor (KS) 2 (G66)

• Note installation position: Cable connection points 45° toward right on outside

10 Cable bracket

• Bolted to Secondary Air Injection (AIR) valve

11 Connector

• Green for Knock Sensor (KS) 1 (G61)

• Installed location => [ Installation position of harness connectors for
knock sensors ]

• Contacts gold plated

12 Connector

• Gray for Knock Sensor (KS) 2 (G66)

• Installed location => [ Installation position of harness connectors for
knock sensors ]

• Contacts gold plated
