Sealing Flange and Drive Plate/Flywheel Assembly Overview





1 Crankshaft/Vibration Damper Pulley

• Multiple versions.

2 Bolt

• Replace

• 50 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

• Only use a strength category 10.9 bolt.

• Quantity: 5

3 Bolt

• 10 Nm

4 Sealing Flange

• With integrated seal.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Sealing Flange, Belt Pulley Side ] Sealing Flange, Belt Pulley Side.

5 Cylinder Block

6 Bolt

• Replace

• 60 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

7 Drive Plate/Flywheel

• To remove, lock crankshaft using locking pin (T40069 ).

• Flywheel must not be pried out or timing housing cover will be damaged

• Drive plate, removing and installing. Refer to => [ Drive Plate ] Drive Plate.

8 Sensor Wheel

• For the engine speed (RPM) sensor (G28).

• With position holder.

9 Seal

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Control Housing Cover Seal ] Service and Repair.

10 Control Housing Cover

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Control Housing Cover ] Service and Repair.

11 O-ring

• Replace

12 Bolt

• 25 Nm

13 Fitting Sleeves

14 Bolt

• 5 Nm

15 Engine Speed (RPM) Sensor (G28)

16 Seal

• Replace
