Central Locking Component Location Overview






1 Connector station

• Installed location: right A-pillar

• To disconnect harness connector, release bellows at pillar. Refer to => [ Door ] Front Door

2 Comfort system central control module (J393)

• Installed location: under the instrument panel on the front passenger side

• Removing.

3 Front passenger door control module (J387)

• integrated in window regulator motor.

• Removing, refer to => [ Front Window Regulator Motor ] Front Window Regulator Motor

4 Front passenger central locking lock unit (F221)

• Door lock is secured to subframe.

• Electrical central locking system is integrated in door lock.

• Removing, refer to => [ Door Lock ] Door Lock

5 Connector station

• Installed location: right B-pillar

• To disconnect harness connector, release bellows at pillar

6 Right rear door control module (J389)

• integrated in window regulator motor.

• Removing, refer to => [ Rear Window Regulator Motor ] Rear Window Regulator Motor

7 Right rear central locking lock unit (F223)

• Door lock is secured to subframe.

• Electrical central locking system is integrated in door lock.

• Removing, refer to => [ Door Lock ] Door Lock

8 Fuel tank lid unlock motor (V155)

• Installed location: behind the luggage compartment trim panel on the right side

• Removing, refer to => [ Actuator ] Actuator

9 Release button in rear lid handle (E234)

• Installed location: inside the emblem

• Removing, refer to => [ Actuator ] Actuator

10 Rear lid lock unit (F256)

• Installed location: attached to the rear lid

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Rear Lid Latch ] Rear Lid Latch

11 Rear lid connector station

• Installed location: behind the luggage compartment trim panel on the left side

• Removing and installing.

12 Left rear central locking lock unit (F222)

• Door lock is secured to subframe.

• Electrical central locking system is integrated in door lock.

• Removing, refer to => [ Door Lock ] Door Lock

13 Left rear door control module (J388)

• integrated in window regulator motor.

• Removing, refer to => [ Rear Window Regulator Motor ] Rear Window Regulator Motor

14 Connector station

• Installed location: left B-pillar

• To disconnect harness connector, release bellows at pillar

15 Driver central locking lock unit (F220)

• Door lock is secured to subframe.

• Electrical central locking system is integrated in door lock.

• Removing, refer to => [ Door Lock ] Door Lock

16 Driver door control module (J386)

• integrated in window regulator motor.

• Removing, refer to => [ Front Window Regulator Motor ] Front Window Regulator Motor

17 Central window regulator switch in driver door (E189)

• Installed location: inside the door trim panel

• Removing and installing the window regulator central switch.
18 Connector station

• Installed location: left A-pillar

• To disconnect harness connector, release bellows at pillar => [ Door ] Front Door

19 Engine hood contact switch (F266)

• Removing and Installing the contact switch.

• Installed location: on the latch

• Hood Latch, Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Hood Latch and Cable ] Hood Latch and Cable

20 Alarm horn (H12)

• Installed location: under the right fender

• Removing.
