Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench (V.A.G 1783)

• Slight changes may have to be made to removal and installation procedures, depending upon engine installed in vehicle.






1 Noise Insulation

• Removing:

- Remove the bolts - 2 - and - 3 -.

- Remove the noise insulation from the front bumper cover - 4 -.

2 Bolt

• Quantity: 3

• Tightening specification: 6 +/- 1.0 Nm

3 Bolt

• 4 for each side and one for the front

• Tightening specification: 2 +/- 0.4 Nm
