SERVICE INDICATOR LAMP RESET BUTTON/LEVERNON-SRS (Airbag) Equipped Vehicles

The service indicator lamp reset lever is located on the back of the instrument cluster. The lever can usually be reached without removing the instrument cluster.
SRS (Airbag) Equipped Vehicles
Instrument Cluster / Service Indicator Lamp Reset:
Vehicles equipped with SRS. The lamp reset lever is operated via a linkage assembly and separate button. The reset button is behind a rubber plug in the lower left portion of the instrument cluster. Use a thin screwdriver to reach through the hole to access the reset button.

NOTE: If the lamp reset linkage does not operate properly, or fails to reset the service indicator lamp, remove the instrument cluster. Reset lamp by pressing upwards on the lamp reset lever located at the rear of the instrument cluster. (This situation is common.)
