Mechanical Overview




-Check the air and vacuum hoses for leaks.

If no air leaks are found.

-Check the injector pulses JA2.

Checking The Injector Pulses

Connect a voltmeter between terminals 1 and 2 on one of the injectors.




-Start the engine.

The voltmeter should read 200-400 mV.

If this value Is OK

-WB. Adjusting the throttle disc.

If the reading Is Incorrect

-Check the ECT sensor JA3.

Checking The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor




Carry out fault tracing in accordance with EE. DTC 1-2-3 DTC 1-2-3

ECT sensor absent or faulty.

If no fault Is found

Intermittent fault.

-Check the connections for loose contacts.
