Blower Motor Replacement

NOTE:
- The work is carried out inside the car.
- A new type of blower motor has been developed. As a result, the blower motor cover must be modified when replacing the unit.
Blower Motor Cover Modification

Removal
1. Disconnect battery ground lead.





2. Remove, on right-hand side:
- soundproofing panel under glove box
- glove box.





3. Disconnect positive terminal strip and bracket on blower housing.
4. Remove:
- connector
- blower motor.

Installation





1. Install:
- rubber gasket around blower housing
- blower motor in housing.
2. Reconnect:
- blower motor connector
- positive terminal strip on blower housing
- battery ground lead.
3. Check blower operation at all speeds.
4. Install glove box and soundproofing panel.
