Replacing the support bracket for the hood catch

The extent of the damage may vary and with it the number of components that need to be removed.

Removing the support bracket for the hood catch




Drill or grind out the spot welds.
Pry off the component.
Grind the welding surfaces clean.

Installing the support bracket for the hood catch




Apply welding primer.
Adjust the support bracket.
Check the M dimensions:
M1 = 110 mm
M2 = 90 mm




M3 = 175 mm
M4 = 40 mm
Secure.
Weld into place.
