Climate control system

Design




The heating/ventilation system consists of three parts.
1. Fan housing, see Passenger compartment fan housing Passenger Compartment Fan Housing.
2. Power unit, see:
- the power unit according to Power unit blower fan Power Unit Blower Fan.
1. Central unit with heat exchanger, see Heat exchanger Removal and Replacement.
When removing complete climate control system, fan unit, intermediate part or central unit, the instrument panel and middle console shall be removed, according to Removing the dashboard Removing The Dashboard and Front center console Front Center Console.
The fan motor, pollen filter and resistor can be replaced without removing the instrument panel.
